Invitation for the 42nd State Cycling Championship
The 42nd West Bengal State Cycling Championships will be held at Kolkata organized by West Bengal Cyclists’ Association Under the aegis of Cycling Federation of India on the 28th & 29th of January, 2023.
We, the member of the committee for organising the State Championship invite you to come be a part of the extravaganza.
We are looking for sponsors & voluntary help to promote & organise the event.
The previous year’s event saw more than 350 cyclists participate in various formats including the Time trial & the mass start race for men & women’s U-18, elite & masters’ category.
We are expecting a larger turn out this year with cyclists coming from across Bengal to content for the titles. This would be a grand opportunity to promote your brand in front of a niche audience. We are organisers will try to ensure maximum possible visibility to our patrons.
The event will be observed by officials from the Cycling federation of India (CFI) & will be attended by eminent sportspeople & dignitaries along with notable bureaucrats of West Bengal.
We are looking for sponsors under the following heads:
- Title Sponsors: Rs. 4,50,000
- Associate sponsors: Rs.1,50,000
- Media partners: Support with publicity
- Medical partners: Ambulance & emergency team for the race days
- Refreshment partners: Food & hydration
- Technical partners: Bike maintenance teams who can help in spot check-up of a bike prior to the race
- Apparel partners.
We look forward to a fruitful collaboration in delivering a grand event in the spirit of promoting cycling as a sport.
Branding collaterals for title & associate sponsors
There would be an estimated 30+ digital communications to the run up to the race and, post the race another 20 - 30 communications on the digital platform.
Offline, the following are the main items that would carry the branding
- The start line for the mass start
- the podium
- the turning points & directional signs
- 1 - 2 OOH Billboards
- upto 30 temporary frame banners
- The start line for the Time Trial on the National highway would have some form of branding. (Standees / flags)
- The finish point line.
- Posters would be printed and put up at multiple physical key spots for more than 2 weeks like the bib distribution point & registration points & critical cyclists' meet points
- the Bib numbers for every participant
- the certificates that would be issued: both physical & digital
- the trophy / medals
- volunteer cards
The title sponsors would also be encouraged to set up a stall / counter at the race venue to showcase their products and / or to curate branded merchandise for the participants.
And, depending on budget available & final negotiations, we intend to produce apparel specific to the race to be distributed to the race volunteers & gifted to the race officials which would carry the branding of the major sponsors. We would be running a 2 week digital ad Campaign on facebook to spread awareness, and drive traffic to the registration page.
And, lastly, similar to other major events, the officials photos will be released with the sponsor brandings for use to the Participants.
This encompasses the branding placement.
However, the true value of the title of Title Sponsor in itself is the prestige.
